Pickleball At Lakestone

Pickleball At Lakestone

Pickleball is a fast-growing sport played right here at Lakestone. People are becoming pickleball-obsessed with a game that can be described as a combination of tennis, racquetball and ping pong.

The sport inspiring community members of all skill levels and ages to come out is played on a court similar in size to a doubles badminton court. Like any other racket sport, players use paddles to volley a ball back and forth over a net. It is a fairly gentle sport, especially compared to higher impact games such as tennis. However, it is not low-cardio; this game can be a great workout!

Try your hand at pickleball at the courts located across from the Information Centre at 9678 Benchland Drive in the Benchlands’ community.
