Though it may have been once known as a place for retirees, you may be surprised to learn that recent reports show an increase in a younger demographic residing in our cities. With “Kelowna having the fastest-growing tech hub in the country”, the growth of UBC/OUC, and the high prices from the Vancouver market, it’s refreshing to see the youth residential population of the Okanagan growing. ‘Come Home to the Lake’ is a perfect depiction of the Lakestone development and Lakestone has coined the phrase as such; however, we believe it’s a common community belief and a shared value among many of us.
